The course also offers in-depth understanding of the concept of pipeline Fitness for Service (FFS), corrosion metal loss (uniform, local and pitting) detected by in-line inspection and based on the concept of DNVGL-RP-F101, Parts A and B, Kastner and ASME B 31G (modified). Both deterministic and probabilistic concepts are covered. It covers method of calculating remaining life of pipelines.
